Nibi Gathering 2023

The Nibi Gathering will be held from May 25 - 28, 2023 in the Whiteshell Provincial Park near Manito Api (Bannock Point).

Through the teachings of Elders, Knowledge Keepers and artists, whom are dedicated to ensuring that Anishinaabe teachings, language, songs, and ceremonies continue for future generations, this four-day gathering focuses on "Building Water Relationships ".

Ride the Nibi Bus

We have limited seating for anyone looking for a ride on the nibi bus. Reserve your spot as soon as possible to save a seat.

  • May 26th depart Winnipeg @ 8am -- Arrival at Bannock point @ 10am

  • May 26th depart Bannock Point @ 4pm -- Arrival in Winnipeg @ 6pm 

  • May 27th depart Winnipeg @ 8am -- Arrival at Bannock point @ 10am

  • May 27th depart Bannock Point @ 4pm -- Arrival in Winnipeg @ 6pm 

  • May 28th depart Bannock Point @ 1pm -- Arrival in Winnipeg @ 3pm

Pick-up and drop-off location in the city will be at the Tim Horton's parking lot at the Dominion Centre (19 Marion st.) 

 

Nibi Gathering is located in the Whiteshell Provincial Park just off the 307 between Bannock Point Petroforms and Pine Point Rapids
