Join us on Louis Riel Day at Festival Du Voyageur for a unique interactive workshop showcasing our vital efforts towards a Water Treaty across the Lake Winnipeg watershed and honouring water as sacred.

In this session, participants will engage with a large-scale watershed map, identifying their family connections within the watershed and reflecting on the water’s pivotal role in the birth of the Metis Nation at Red River. This experience offers a journey through geography, history and culture, emphasizing our collective responsibility to the life-giving spirit of dii loo (water).

This workshop will be held in Maison du Bourgeois, at the festival grounds from 10am – 4pm.
